Seasons Change

Now that the clocks have gone back you can really notice the time change and the change of seasons. It still seems of that a few months ago it was still bright when we left the class. Now it is dark when we arrive! Luckily inside The Edge theatre space it is delightfully cosy.

Below are some of the works from last week’s class, look forward to seeing you next week!

Natural Pose!

Maggi-May was our model last week, Maggi-May is one of our regular models, and has worked with us for more than four years. This week she did a particular pose that I really liked. She stood with one foot slightly raised and it looked like she was dipping her toe in the sea. Often poses by their very nature look staged (they are!), but this pose looked completely natural.

Forgot my camera this week, so images are from my phone!

From Start to End

Alex was our model last week. And just about everybody was surprised when we announced it was her first time at the end of the class. Although most of our models make it look easy, it is not as easy as some people think. It is not simply a case of sitting there for two hours. Especially our class. As anybody that has attended knows, our models work from start to end.
Mind you so do our attendee’s as this weeks examples testify!

Latest pictures

We had a great turnout last night, and there were a lot of different and interesting styles on show. We’ve got a whole host of pictures to post, so many in fact that it’s going to take a little time to edit and crop them all! Watch this space for the latest gallery. In the meantime, we’ve got a great selection from last week’s class to share, hope you enjoy them.

Don’t forget, our exhibition is still on display at the Edge Arts Centre, so don’t forget to stop by and have a look while it’s still up! We’re in the process of planning something a little more ambitious for the future, but of course we need your lovely pictures to make it happen so keep ’em coming!

See you all next time 🙂

More pictures and styles….

We put people’s drawings on our website for a number of reasons..
One of the key ones is that it gives everybody an idea of how diverse drawing can be…
Some are drawn fast and free, others detailed and considered…….everybody’s drawings are as unique as their signature…

These are more examples from last week….
