It’s been an action-packed few weeks for arts events in Manchester! The Video Jam team took over Manchester Art Gallery for an unforgettable Thursday evening, with filmmakers including Adam Scovell, Amelia Crouch and Katarzyna Parejko joining musisicans including The Hipshakes, Charlie Cocksedge and MOTHER to deliver a programme responding directly to Ryan Gander’s exhibition ‘Make ever show like it’s your last’.
The Manchester Craft and Design Centre is also hosting the Makers Dozen Collaborative Exhibition from 18 July to 13 September. With an emphasis on the made, the exhibition highlights the links craft and design make to both the art world and the North West, and the importance our objects have in everyday society.
